Protecting privacy, dignity, and trust is central to AIGHAP operations.

This policy applies to website visitors, partners, beneficiaries, applicants, employees, and service providers whose data is processed by AIGHAP.

  • Identity and contact details.
  • Program and service interaction records.
  • Operational, financial, and safeguarding case data where required.
  • Technical data (IP, browser, security logs).

  • Program delivery and reporting.
  • Donor compliance and audit accountability.
  • Security monitoring and fraud prevention.
  • Legal and regulatory obligations.

AIGHAP (African Initiative for Global Health, Advocacy, and Policy) is registered with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) in Kenya and processes personal data in line with applicable legal requirements.

We rely on consent, legitimate interests, contractual necessity, legal obligations, and vital/public interest where applicable.

Where applicable to donations, finance, and fundraising handling, contributions are processed in accordance with data protection and financial compliance controls. Donation records are reference-coded and auditable.

Data is shared only with authorized staff, processors, regulators, and partners with strict controls and confidentiality obligations.

  • Where required, consent and prior approval are obtained before airing or broadcasting AIGHAP-origin content that contains personal data.
  • Third-party partner signals are embedded from source platforms after due diligence checks; AIGHAP does not claim ownership or authorship of such content.
  • Display of third-party media is for common public-health information purposes and does not imply endorsement.
  • Users and stakeholders may report violations or omissions to privacy@aighap.org or info@aighap.org; verified concerns trigger corrective actions.

Data is retained according to legal, donor, and operational schedules, then securely archived or disposed.

You may request access, correction, objection, portability (where applicable), or deletion through privacy@aighap.org.
